Meet the new face of wicked war in SYRIA.... US boots on the ground. After essential defeat of ISIS, the USA boldly becomes SYRIA's new enemy

By from net, Posted in Politics / World

The US does not consider itself constrained by the United Nations Security Council and has deployed many thousands of ground troops in Syria for its own purposes, Nikki Haley, stated Friday. The US took similar *ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL* action in Libya in 2011.

"With ... this council, or alone... we will continue ... in Syria," Haley said.

Haley's blistering and defiant remarks provoked an angry reaction from Moscow, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov calling it "fake diplomacy." Lavrov said that "it seems we are witnessing a new phenomenon in international relations, as now, apart from fake news, there is also fake diplomacy."

In 2011, the US immorally inserted itself into Libya. Under the pretext of a UN mandate to establish a no-fly zone in the country, the US-led NATO coalition waged a full-fledged war upon Libya that eventually resulted in the slaughter of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and many civilian deaths. Libya is still in tatters and localized war involving tribes and militants is ongoing.

Despite the UN ~~NOT~~ giving the greenlight for US war upon the government and people of Syria, US Secretary of War James Mattis has lied and has claimed that the UN sanctioned action there. Damascus has repeatedly blasted the US for operating on Syrian territory without its consent and in violation of international law, and clearly the US presence is an invasion of a sovereign country without provocation.

ANOTHER big hype about a small story --- Wikileaks & Trump Jr. shared a few Twitter DM's --- So what?

Donald Trump Jr. briefly and minimally corresponded with WikiLeaks during campaign

Monday Donald Trump Jr. shared the few messages that he exchanged during the 2016 campaign with WikiLeaks, the organization that promotes transparency by publishing leaked and secret material.

Trump Jr. shared the messages via his Twitter feed hours after The Atlantic published a story revealing the existence of the correspondence. "How ironic!" that "one of the congressional committees" chose to "selectively leak" the messages between himself and WikiLeaks, Trump Jr. wrote.

The Atlantic said WikiLeaks communicated with Trump Jr. in a few DM's (direct messages) from the organization's Twitter account and that Trump Jr.'s lawyers turned the messages over to congressional investigators looking into the 2016 election. WikiLeaks continued to message Trump Jr. until July 2017, but there is no evidence Trump Jr. responded to any of them after October 2016.

Trump Jr. ignored the most of the requests from WikiLeaks and he did not respond to any messages from the group after mid-October 2016.

On Oct. 21, 2016, WikiLeaks suggested Donald Trump leak his tax returns on its site to control the narrative around the issue. WikiLeaks also said leaking the tax returns would "dramatically improve the (public) perception".

When news broke in July about Trump Jr.'s June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, WikiLeaks messaged Trump Jr. and suggested he leak the emails about setting up the meeting to the organization. As with the tax returns, WikiLeaks suggested giving them the documents would help the Trumps control the narrative.

Trump Jr. did not respond to the message, but hours later he shared the emails himself through his Twitter account.

A lawyer for Trump Jr. said the president's eldest son had no concerns about the messages with WikiLeaks.

Get ready for another ride into dreamland - Mideast 'Peace' Talks... Oh yeah, right, like Israel wants peace.

By from net, Posted in Politics / World

(NYT) -- WASHINGTON - President Trump and his advisers have purportedly begun developing their own concrete blueprint to "end the decades-old conflict" between Jewish Israel and the Indigenous Palestinians, a plan intended to go beyond previous frameworks offered by the American government in pursuit of what the president calls "the ultimate deal."

After 10 months of educating themselves on the complexities of the world's most intractable dispute, White House officials said, Mr. Trump's team of relative newcomers to Middle East peacemaking has moved into a new phase of its venture in hopes of transforming what it has learned into tangible steps to end a stalemate - which, in reality, the Tel Aviv regime wants only to be solved as am emigration of Palestinians.

Nonetheless, Mr. Trump's team has collected "non-papers" exploring various issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and officials said they expected to address such perennial dividing points as the status of Jerusalem and settlements in the occupied West Bank. Although Mr. Trump has not yet committed to a Palestinian state, analysts said they anticipated that the plan will have to be built around the so-called two-state solution that has been the core of peacemaking efforts for years.

Neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel nor President Abbas of the Palestinian Authority is in a strong position to negotiate. Mr. Netanyahu faces corruption investigations and pressure from the right in his narrow coalition not to make concessions, while Mr. Abbas is aging and endures strong opposition among his own constituents.

Skepticism abounds, especially among those who spent years struggling to overcome the same challenges with the same set of tools. "There's nothing new under the sun when it comes to Middle East peace," said Philip Gordon, a White House Middle East coordinator under Mr. Obama. "When you get into these details, that's when you come up against the strong objections of the two sides. If they don't want it to be dead on arrival, they may wind up with vague principles, but as we've seen, even vague principles are beyond what the parties are willing to embrace."

The crazed TRUMP PRESIDENCY PSYOP run by the CFR -- "Chaos out of Chaos" - Trump playing the "Contra-Dic-Head"?

By from net, Posted in Politics / World

[Portions of this item from POLITICO - edited for length and accuracy by DTRI] ---

DANANG, Vietnam - President Donald Trump stayed on script for more than a week as he crisscrossed Asia - and then Russian President Vladimir Putin showed up.

After chatting with Putin on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit here, Trump "seemed" to abandon the talking points WH staffers had scripted for his five-country tour, once again expressing "no confidence" in the wild and unproven RussiaRussia charges promulgated by the saliently corrupt US intel community. .

In a 26-minute question-and-answer session with reporters aboard Air Force One, the president managed to dismiss the RussiaRussia nonsense as an "artificial Democratic hit job," said he believed Putin was being sincere when he insisted that Russia did not attempt to interfere in the 2016 election, and warned that the continued focus on RussiaRussia fake meme risks lives.

He then went on a tear on Twitter, lashing out at critics of his attempts to broker a better relationship with Putin and ---seeming to backhandedly call Kim Jong Un "short and fat."

"When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There [sic] always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!" Trump wrote.

He later added a knock on Hillary Clinton's attempted reset with Russia and then went after the North Korean leader.

"Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me 'old,' when I would NEVER call him 'short and fat?' Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!" Trump tweeted.

The craziness of the lingering RussiaRussia fake meme INCLUDES the fact that for many months (if not still, who knows if still - several staffers in the Trump regime got aboard the fake meme saying they in essence believe the gist of it... including CIA Director Mike Pompeo, White House chief of staff John Kelly, and White House homeland security and counterterrorism adviser Thomas Bossert, who have said they support the conclusion that Russia sought to promote a certain outcome to the election - Trump said he takes the Russian president at his word when he denies the (already proven to be false) accusations. It should be noted though, that in saying they support the gist of the meme, individuals like Bossert, Kelly and Pompeo basically said... they support the conclusion that Russia sought to promote a certain outcome to the election. Which is not really saying much at all and certainly is no a specific indication of subterfuge of the electoral process. In fact its as vague as saying the Good Humor ice cream man hopes you like ice cream. And at every turn talks up ice cream as a great snack. So what?

[WHO WERE THE (merely 3) evil INTEL agency liars? - CIA, FBI, NSA ... all three notoriously well known for lawbreaking, lying, and contemptuous corruption.]

On Saturday, Trump lashed out at former heads of the U.S. intelligence agencies, claiming there are plenty of reasons to be suspicious of their findings and dismissing them as "political hacks."

John Brennan, the former CIA director, responded Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" that Trump was dismissing the former officials - himself included - as "political hacks" in an attempt to "delegitimize" the intelligence community's (ridiculous) assessment. (Duh, yeah!--- Looney Criminal Brennan, Looney Criminal Comey, Looney Criminal Clapper.. duh, yeah!)....

And after his latest meeting with Putin (on Friday) Trump said -- "Every time he sees me, he says, 'I didn't do that,' and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it," Trump said. "But he says, 'I didn't do that.' I think he is very insulted by it, if you want to know the truth. Don't forget. All he said was he never did that, he didn't do that. I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country."

Trump dismissed the saliently false meddling allegations as driven by Democrats, warning that the heavy focus on the issue threatens the United States' ability to partner with Russia on key issues. He asserted that the allegations could fray the U.S.-Russia relationship so badly that the country could be less willing to cooperate on North Korea, Syria and other international crises - an outcome that would put lives at risk.

"This artificial Democratic hit job gets in the way, and that's a shame because people will die because of it," he said. "And it's a pure hit job."

"Everybody knows there was no collusion," he continued. "I think it's a shame that something like this can destroy a very important potential relationship between two countries that are very important countries. Russia could really help us."

The president said Putin again "Said he didn't meddle. I asked him again. You can only ask so many times. I just asked him again. He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did," Trump said, adding that he and Putin, "have the potential to have a very good relationship."

However just hours later, Trump bizarrely undermined the value of the above remarks. Asked at a news conference in Hanoi on Sunday whether he thinks Russia meddled in the election, Trump said: "I believe he [Putin] feels he and Russia did not meddle. As to whether I believe it or not, I'm with our agencies, especially as currently constituted."

And thus the whacky CFR run "Trump Presidency Psyop" marches on, confusing, agitating, and forestalling progress on serious issues... JUST AS THE CFR INTENDS IT TO.

Trump, Putin reportedly agree to defeat ISIS in Syria -- WHAT?

REALLY? By all reports haven't Syrian Gov't Forces and Russian forces ALREADY defeated ISIS in Syria? That seems to be the gist of all the reports issuing from Syria and Moscow in recent weeks. What's left to do?
