US Supreme Court overturns landmark abortion decision
The ruling overturns the 1973 court verdict regarding legal access to abortion. Lawmaking on the issue reverts to state by state legislation.
This ruling doesn't ban abortion; it simply allows states to decide. Many don't believe that abortion should be a form of contraception. On the other hand, people should not be forced to bring unwanted babies into this world unless adoption can be arranged. This ruling will make people take the sex act more seriously.

The controversial decision stemmed from a Mississippi case, Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization... which centered on the constitutionality of a state law banning abortions after the first 15 weeks of pregnancy. In appealing the case to the Supreme Court, the state explicitly sought the overturn of Roe v Wade.
