When asked on CBS about Hillary Clinton and his promise to appoint a special prosecutor Trump joltingly did an outrageous flip flop and said:
"She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things," to which Lesley Stahl remarked, "I know, but a special prosecutor?"
"I don't want to hurt them, I don't want to hurt them," Trump said. "They're, they're good people. I don't want to hurt them." [So no special prosecutor? She gets a pass ....AGAIN?]
What? WHAT????? Either he needs a few days off and a few nights of good rest, or he needs an intervention. He spent a year telling the nation she's the most corrupt politician ever. Now she's -- GOOD PEOPLE? And we owe her gratitude? WTF?
He spent a year declaring Obama was the worst president ever. Then the other day it was A GREAT HONOR TO MEET HIM?
Mr. Trump needs at least a few days off. Maybe some smelling salts. MAYBE MORE.
Mr. Gingrich is right. You have to drain the swamp fast, or it will drain YOU. And you can't be NICE to the swamp and hope that will de-fang it. That absolutely will backfire.
