Let us try to break this madness down for you.
Imagine a new brand of auto airbag is put on the market. After only 5 weeks of "safety testing", the gov't declares its safe and effective. Except when it's not safe and not effective. Which actually turns out to be almost all the time.
So why use it, if it does not prevent you from getting thrown thru the windshield and out of the vehicle? HERE's WHY says the manufacturer and the gov't... "Sure it doesn't prevent you from rocketing thru the windshield out into the vast beyond outside the car, but what it does do is make you less likely to die in the first 255 minutes after you hit a rock wall".... Are you sure of that?... "Of course we're sure.".. How are you sure? ... "We're the government. Don't be spreading misinformation"... What abut the old thing of airbags keeping you in the car?.... So then a talk show host has two car accidents in a span of 5 months, and both times flies thru the windshield. Once hitting a phone pole. Once hitting a truck. And in each case barely survives.
