LOS ANGELES - A week after being jilted by his 25 year-old fiancee, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is making the most of his new "runaway bride" theme.
Hefner, 85, said in a Twitter message that an aborted TV special about what would have been his third wedding has been revived with a new twist.
"The marriage special planned for Lifetime TV is now going to have a 'runaway bride' theme & will air July 19th" Hefner said in a Tweet late Tuesday.
"Holly & Kendra were here today lending their emotional support as we shot for the Lifetime TV special," he added, referring to two of his former girlfriends best known as the stars of reality TV show "The Girls Next Door."

J.Lo just scored a restraining order against Claudia Vasquez -- the current girlfriend of her ex-husband Ojani Noa ... the same ex-husband who filmed the honeymoon footage back in 1997 and has been dogging her ever since.
We're told Claudia now owns the tape and was trying to take it to market ... but the judge temporarily blocked her bid, on grounds it can't be released without Jennifer's sign off.

A teary Rep. Anthony Weiner apologized on Monday for having "inappropriate" telephone and email conversations with six women over three years, though he said he did not break any laws and would not step down.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi immediately called for an investigation of Weiner's actions.
The New York lawmaker admitted he posted a photograph of his bulging crotch on Twitter, saying he had lied when he previously characterized the photograph as a prank.

Snooki in Custody After Cop Car Crash

Snooki was taken into custody in Florence, Italy on Monday after crashing into a police car ... TMZ has learned
Snooki was driving when she struck the cop car, but sources connected with the production tell TMZ, "Zero alcohol was involved."
Its reported told no one was injured.
A witness says, Snooki smacked her into the back of the patrol car, wedging her ride between the car and a highway protection wall. The witness says Deena was in the passenger seat at the time of the crash -- and when she tried to exit the car, she had to go through the window ... because the door was blocked by the wall.
Reportedly, although Snooki is in custody ... it is not a formal arrest.

Tongues were wagging after they hung at the Hangover 2 premiere and afterparty at the Top of the Standard Monday night.
The New York Post's Page Six claimed the pair was inseparable and even left the soiree together. But that's not what I'm hearing...
While a source tells me they were indeed sitting at the same table at the post-party with some other friends, they departed separately from the Bing-sponsored bash.
So perhaps the romance rumors have been overblown?
