The 'sanctions" imposed on Russia by US are an act of unprovoked economic warfare. Nobody seems to mention they should be lifted and should ever have been imposed. SO why is it hard to fathom Russia wants them lifted? At the same time, its unlikely Russia has been using nefarious lobbying means.
